Meet the Staff

Angie

Angie is Doctor Dornauer’s wife.  She has worked behind the scenes to keep the practice running smoothly since 1986.  She even worked with the practice while teaching in the Tiffin Public Schools and raising their oldest son.  After 13 years as a special education teacher and guidance counselor, Angie decided to work full-time in managing the business aspects of Dr. Dornauer’s practice. Since 1986, she has maintained her “behind the scenes” management approach in the practice while becoming instrumental in community and charity organizations. She is most active in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and the Y-Wives component of the Tiffin YMCA, serving as the co-chairperson for their major fund-raiser since 1995. She has served on the Ritz Theater Board, Mercy Hospital Gala committee, and the HEIGHTS advisory board for gifted and talented students for many years.  For eight years, she worked as a “success coach” at Tiffin University to help students manage the academic and social challenges of college life.

Angie enjoys family activities, outdoor adventures, and running. In 2008, she completed the 26.2 mile Chicago Marathon, a dream come true for her.  Since then, she has completed many major marathons including:  the Berlin, Germany Marathon, Chicago Marathon (three times), Boston Marathon, New York City Marathon, Marine Corps Marathon in Washington, D.C., Cleveland Full and Half Marathons (several times), and Columbus Marathon (twice).  She has run the marathons to raise money for charities including:  The American Cancer Society, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Hospital, and Lazarus House Ministries.  She has competed and won special place awards in many triathlons and marathons.

Cheryl

Cheryl has been in Dentistry since 2007. She enjoys helping people get the kind of care they deserve and will go the extra mile to get your insurance to pay. Cheryl has been part of the Civil War Re-enacting Community for over 20 years and loves teaching the history of this time period to people. She also enjoys sewing, cross-stitch, camping, and spending time with family and friends.

Beth

Beth has worked in the dental field for thirty years in Tiffin, Ohio.  She is working the front desk.

Monica

Monica is working as a surgical assistant.  She has worked in the medical field for over ten years.  Her favorite pastime is spending time with family.

Lacey

Although I am new to the dental field, I have worked in health care for ten years.  I have three children and love spending time with them.

Taylor

My name is Taylor and I have been in the health field since 2009.  After taking a one year break, I returned to the dental field.  I tried something different, oral surgery assistant, and I could not be happier.
